The four camshafts of the engine are driven by a roller chain and actuate hydraulic lifters that eliminate valve lash adjustment. I'm at 10.5 to 1 with a 4 speed and 3:73. I have a 383 flat top pistons and Scoggin Dickey high lift 64cc Vortecs and the Voodoo #103.I think at 508 lift AVS 650 carb And the stock 882 or 993 garbage head will be the weak link so go with the #102 instead. I'd have to tell you that I think the #103 is too high lift for the run of the mill stock head. Without 9.50 to 11.0 compression that # 103 Voodoo will suck.
